Owing to the latest computer technology, software and hi-speed internet, Gerhard Graf-Martinez is now offering private Flamenco guitar instruction via video conference on all systems via video chat (Mac and PC).

Perfect for those in remote regions and overseas. No matter where on the planet you are, we can do lessons! You just need a webcam, computer and high-speed internet.

What do you need?

A Computer and a Webcam.

A fast broadband internet connection. Ethernet cable ist better for maximum speed than wireless connection.

A webcam, or web camera, is the loosely used term for any camera that generates images that can be accessed by and displayed on the world wide web through a server.

An iCloud (MobileMe), AIM, Google Talk, or Jabber account. These services are all free.

A chat client is a software program designed for use in online chat rooms. It might also be associated with Instant Messaging (IM) programs, though IM programs are designed to use while cruising the Web. This makes standard IM programs more akin to a plug-in than a fully featured chat client.

iChat (now Messages) by Apple (only Mac) supports MobileMe, AIM, Jabber, ICQ und Google Talk. But we can you each of the protocols mentioned above.

Facetime: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Mac.

Services and protocols?

iCloud - Free gets you a lot. For Apple users - is a subscription-based collection of online services and software offered by Apple.

Google-Chat is free and installed in seconds. Get started easily - all you need is a webcam. You can use other Clients too. (Mac/Win)

For free. AIM (AOL IM) is an instant messaging program which allow registered users (not only AOL users) to communicate in real time. (Mac/Win)

Let´s start

Fill out the form and select time and date.
Prior to the first LU (lesson unit = 30 min) you should have configured everything in such a way that you are to be seen on your display in your client by means of your Webcam. Often the service providers offer also a test connection.
I will send a) a confirmation of the appointment and b) a PayPal payment request.
You pay via PayPal by credit card, or Bank Transfer. The fee must be paid in advance.

When filling out the form there is absolutely nothing to fear. If no connection is concluded for technical reasons, you will receive your money (PayPal refund) back. You concludes neither a contract, still another subscription. You always pay only the actual single lesson.

Lessons

In the morning not before 10.30 o'clock (CET) - in the evening at the latest 22.00 o'clock. Saturday only in the afternoon, Sundays never.

From 13.00 to 16.00 o'clock is midday and siesta.

1 LU (lesson unit) is 30 min. You can book several units.

Exclusion

For the data communication I cannot take over a guarantee. I have a 16000 kBit/s DSL connection. If there is lack of low-bandwidth by the service provider or the other side is interrupted, or bad connection, the remainder time is retrieved or refunded. In repetition of this, I would, however, refrain from further meetings distance. Please also understand that I do not answer questions about PC configurations. Each service provider offers help.
